THE TRUXTUN FELLOWSHIP AT HARVARD
The inaugural Fellowship will bring together 6–8 veteran graduate students from across Harvard for a YEAR of community, reflection, shared experience, relationships, and purposeful leadership.
A veteran fellowship built around community, reflection, and purposeful leadership.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
We look for veterans who demonstrate:curiosity
generosity
humility
self-awareness
openness
genuine desire to contribute to the growth of others
We're building a community around who Fellows are, what they contribute, and who they are becoming.
The Fellowship is intentionally small. Fellows will gather roughly twice each month, with programming designed to build trust over time, create space for honest reflection and growth, broaden relationships and perspectives, and ultimately give Fellows greater ownership of the community itself.
❋ THE TRUXTUN TABLEIntimate, off-the-record dinners that bring Fellows into genuine conversation with exceptional leaders, thinkers, practitioners, and one another.
❋ TRUXTUN IN THE FIELDOutdoor, service, cultural, and other shared experiences that take Fellows outside the classroom and create space for challenge, fun, and deeper relationships.
❋ COHORT CONVERSATIONSFellow-centered in-person conversations about identity, values, ambition, relationships, transition, leadership, service, and what makes a life meaningful.
❋ FELLOW OWNERSHIPThe inaugural cohort will help shape the Fellowship itself. As trust develops over the year, Fellows will increasingly help create conversations, experiences, traditions, and the future of the Truxtun community.
❋ MENTORSHIP & CONNECTIONOpportunities to build meaningful relationships with people whose experiences, perspectives, and paths can challenge Fellows and expand their sense of what comes next.
❋ COMMUNITY BEYOND HARVARDThe Fellowship is designed as the beginning of a relationship with Truxtun, not a one-year program that ends at graduation.
