The PROBLEM WE SOLVE
The military provides unusually powerful forms of identity, community, responsibility, purpose, and belonging.
Leaving it can therefore represent much more than changing jobs.
Veterans have access to valuable resources for employment, education, benefits, and healthcare. But the deeper work of transition, including making sense of one's service, navigating a changing identity, rebuilding community, and determining what comes next, is harder to institutionalize.
Truxtun Foundation exists to help fill that gap.
We believe military transition deserves to be approached intentionally: not simply as an exit from service, but as a meaningful passage between chapters of identity, community, purpose, and leadership.
